Foundational ELD (English Language Development) is a mandatory course for foundational level students in the English Learner Education program. This course is designed to develop the academic vocabulary, language conventions, and linguistic complexity of English learners.
Through this course, students will work toward the development of their language and literacy proficiencies in English in the domains of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
