This course will introduce students to the practice of journalism in the digital age. Students will learn how to write news and feature stories and develop multimedia content for publication on HHS Press, our online newspaper. The class will include online and face-to-face discussions regarding not only the modern practice of journalism, but also the changing role of the journalist in the digital era and fundamental issues of media ethics. work and the tools needed to be a more informed consumer of media.
